Corporate Finance

Corporate finance is a process by which a corporate raises funds for the needs of its on-going business and its restructuring or growth projects: i.e. trade, maintenance and modernisation, capacity expansion, infrastructure projects, mergers & acquisitions.

PGI assists its clients in obtaining Debt Finance on a corporate-finance basis. Corporate finance looks to the credit of an existing corporate entity. Debt terms are based on the sponsor’s credit support or on the value of its assets in the form of real estate property, movable property, receivables and the like. Corporate debt financing would be in the form of;

  • working capital loans (stocks, imports, exports pre/post finance),

  • fixed asset and technology investment loans,

  • refinancing loans,

  • acquisition finance loans and

  • financial leasing.

PGI offers its clients access to the international Equity Finance sources by facilitating

  • issue of a company's shares to the public,

  • private equity,

  • venture capital.

In the area of Mergers and Acquisitions, PGI takes hands on role in investor matching and in facilitating negotiations with appropriate merger, acquisition, joint venture or strategic partner candidates. PGI conducts a systematic and global search for identifying potential investors and businesses through its own client base and network of investment banks, funds and corporate finance companies.
